The Brooklyn Botanic Garden was established in 1910, utilizing land from Mount Prospect Park. To get to the Botanic Garden from Manhattan, you can conveniently take either the 2 or 3 train, which will get you there in approximately 30 minutes from Times Square. The fare for non-students is $18, while students can enjoy a discounted rate of $12.


If you are a resident, you may use the Botanic Garden for free. All you need is a library card and to reserve a spot on the Culture Pass program website. if you're working in the city but do not reside there, you may still use the city libraries and enjoy the benefits of the Culture Pass program.


The Botanic Garden provides convenient parking lots for visitors. The cost of parking is $18 for up to 5 hours.
